DIT7000 DIFRNCE Review

23/08/2011

I’ve had this device now for a few months and it has kept me entertained. The kids loved playing Angry Birds on the touch screen, and it was great to read the beeb whilst out and about. Battery life was actually alright too lasting long enough to watch a movie on the go.

However i was unable to get Skype working and quite a few other applications also….

This was perhaps due to my Android os knowledge – which i admit is lacking, but with a total lack of online community support for this hardware platform, and not even a decent manual from the manufacturer!#%# this left me wanting what everyone with a well-known branded touch pad was enjoying daily..

(update: 9/12/2011) Having now dropped this device from a height of about 60cm, the screens cracked and is unusable. If you want to buy it for spares feel free to contact me. Seems to work but due to screen unusable.

Worth 150 euros? nope. Wishing i’d spent the money on an Archos branded model, purely for their online community support and decent website.

dit is shi..
